University Guidance

Choosing what comes next is not a single decision. It’s a process of understanding who you are.

How We Approach It

At NAAVU, university guidance begins early and builds over time.

From the Middle Years onwards, students are supported through structured conversations, workshops, and reflection. They explore their interests, strengths, and aspirations, not just as academic choices, but as personal ones.

The focus is on helping students make informed, thoughtful decisions, rather than rushed or external ones.

What This Looks Like

Grade-specific workshops starting in MYP.

One-on-one guidance and mentoring.

Exposure to global university pathways.

Support with applications and requirements.

Reflection on interests, strengths, and goals.

Meet the University Guidance Counsellor

Ashwini

I’m Ashwini, and for me, counselling begins with listening.

It’s not about placing students into universities. It’s about helping them understand themselves — their strengths, interests, and what truly matters to them.

Through conversations, reflection, and exploration, I work with students to help them make decisions with clarity and confidence. Over time, they begin to see possibilities, ask better questions, and take ownership of their path.

The goal is simple: to help students move forward with purpose, not pressure.
