Belonging & Support

Every child learns differently.
And every child deserves to feel like they belong.

How We Think
About Learning

Some children learn by building.
Some by asking questions.

Some by observing quietly before trying.

At NAAVU, we don’t expect children to fit into one way of learning.

We create environments where different ways of learning are understood and supported.

Across the campus, children explore, build, and discover; through spaces that allow them to learn in ways that feel natural to them.

Learning Support (SEN)

No child should feel lost in their own classroom.

Our Learning Support team works closely with teachers and families to ensure that every child feels confident, included, and capable.

Support includes:

Early identification of learning needs

Individualised Learning Plans (ILPs)

Differentiated instruction across classrooms

Small-group and one-to-one support

Multi-sensory learning approaches

Collaboration with families and specialists

Wellbeing at NAAVU

Children don’t leave their emotions at the classroom door.

At NAAVU, wellbeing is part of everyday school life, through conversations, reflection, play, and time to pause.

Students learn to:

  • Understand their emotions
  • Build healthy relationships
  • Feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes

Because when children feel safe and understood, they engage more deeply with learning.

Support Facilitator

Ms Deepika

My work is centred around helping children understand how they learn best.

Learning doesn’t look the same for everyone and that’s something we value here. Some children need more time, some need different approaches, and some just need to feel understood before they can fully engage.

With a background in psychology, I’m deeply interested in how confidence, curiosity, and a sense of belonging shape the way children learn.

My goal is simple: to help every child feel capable, supported, and comfortable in their own learning journey.
