A Future-Ready School, Rooted in What Matters

At Naavu, learning starts with curiosity and grows through connection. Through the early years and beyond, we help children build the confidence and skills they need for now and what comes next.

Naavu isn’t just a name. It’s a Philosophy.

The word ‘Naavu’ means ‘We’ in Kannada. And that’s really what this place is. We cultivate a space where no student learns alone. A space where community is a way of being. If you’re looking for a school that holds your child like you would. A school with gentleness, shared purpose, and a belief in who they are, we’d love to show you around.

We built Naavu like you’d build a home

We built Naavu to set a new standard that puts individuals at the center. Everything here has been shaped with care and detail. The light in the classrooms, to the greenhouses where children feel the soil beneath their feet, to the thoughtful way individuals interact with one another, are all intentional. We believe school should support each child’s pace of growth, with learning that is steady, balanced, and grounded in purpose. Every day at Naavu, we ask: “What does this child need to grow well?” That’s our real curriculum.

What We Hold Close

The way we use the land
Our three large greenhouses are living classrooms where learning grows with age. In early years, children plant seeds and watch them grow. As they move through school, they explore food systems, see sustainability in action, and experience environmental science.
The Way We Build Culture
At Naavu, culture is daily life. Children explore their heritage through stories, songs, food, language, and festivals—celebrating who they are and where they're from. We honour folk traditions, making learning joyful, rooted, and deeply personal.
The way we learn
At Naavu, learning is anchored in ideas that connect across subjects and stages. We focus on building understanding, not just memorizing content. Whether a child is just starting school or preparing for university, our approach encourages curiosity, exploration, and real-world thinking.
The way a day feels
There’s movement, mindfulness, and music. There’s enough time to eat lunch slowly and there’s always someone that can be asked “what if?”.
The way we grow
Naavu is more than a school. It’s a place held together by people. Families, educators, support staff, and neighbours all show up for the children.

We foster shared meals, open conversations, parent circles, local artisans in the classrooms, as these are key parts of our learning process. We know that learning doesn’t happen in isolation, but in community. At the heart of it all is respect: for every individual, and in every interaction. We’re building a space where care runs deep, and every voice matters.

A child will spend over 15,000 hours in school.
That time should do more than prepare them for exams. It should prepare them for life. Naavu is built on this belief. I set out to build a school that tunes into every child. One that cares about how they grow, how they ask questions, how they begin to understand who they are and how they belong. Every child who walks in here will walk out ready to lead, create, care, and stand tall in the world. That’s my promise in the name of Naavu.
