The Living Classroom brings children face-to-face with the living world — allowing them to observe animals closely, ask questions, and understand life through real experiences.
This session is conducted in collaboration with Prani – The Pet Sanctuary, known for ethical animal care and experiential learning programmes for children.
At NAAVU, learning doesn’t end with textbooks or worksheets. Our Extended Learning Programme is designed as a space where children learn by doing; using their hands, voices, materials, and imagination.
These after-school workshops focus on real-life skills: thinking, making, expressing, collaborating, and problem-solving. No worksheets. No rote outcomes. Just meaningful, hands-on learning.
Each workshop runs for 1 hour after school, led by NAAVU educators, in small groups that allow children to explore deeply and confidently.
Speak. Listen. Imagine.
Through stories, role play, and guided prompts, children learn to express ideas, listen actively, and build narratives together. Stories are shared, shaped, and brought to life.
Builds:
Build. Think. Solve.
Children explore ideas through LEGO bricks — developing logic, spatial reasoning, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. Activities encourage children to plan, test, rebuild, and reflect as they construct their thinking.
Builds:
Working with clay helps children slow down and connect with materials. They explore form, texture, and process — learning patience, focus, and creativity through making.
Builds:
From simple folds to structured builds, children work with paper to explore geometry, sequencing, and design. Mistakes become part of the process.
Builds:
Chess introduces children to strategy, foresight, and decision-making. Through guided play, children learn to think ahead, reflect on choices, and build resilience.
Builds:
Hands-on. Thoughtful. Human.
NAAVU Open Studio is where children spend one focused hour after school — building skills that last far beyond it.
