About Learning
At Naavu, the environment is designed to support how children learn, interact, and experience the world around them.
Classrooms are naturally lit and ventilated, with open-air corridors that extend learning beyond enclosed walls. These spaces create calm, comfortable conditions that help students stay focused and engaged.
Nature is integrated throughout the campus through native plants, green buffers, and permeable surfaces. This allows students to experience ecological systems up close while also creating a biodiverse and cooler microclimate.
Movement and wellbeing are built into the school day through dedicated areas that encourage physical activity, exploration, and balance; recognising the important connection between movement and learning.
Sustainable systems such as rainwater harvesting, composting, and green walls are part of the campus infrastructure. Students encounter these systems in everyday life, helping them understand how responsible environmental practices work in real contexts.
Technology is thoughtfully integrated into classrooms through tools such as interactive boards and maker resources, enabling research, creativity, and collaboration while promoting responsible digital use.
